Colombo is Sri Lanka’s largest city and commercial hub, offering a mix of colonial architecture, modern developments, markets, museums, restaurants and oceanfront spaces. It is a useful starting or finishing point for a Sri Lanka holiday and gives travellers a lively introduction to the country’s urban culture and food scene.
