Digana

Digana is a quiet town east of Kandy, set among green hills near the Victoria Reservoir. It offers a peaceful alternative to central Kandy and is well placed for golf, nature walks, countryside stays and day trips to Kandy’s cultural attractions and surrounding hill-country scenery. Victoria Reservoir is the area’s major scenic feature, with Kandy located within easy driving distance. The roads east of Digana lead towards Teldeniya and the Knuckles mountain region, making the town a useful base for combining reservoir views, golf, village scenery and day trips into the central highlands.
